Welcome to Chair Yoga, where you can be a seasoned yogi or a beginner. It is a great practice for those who may be sitting at the office all day. It is perfect for caregivers----both the givers and the cared for. Chair Yoga was developed to give those who could not do standing exercise the full experience of a yoga class while sitting in a chair. We begin chair yoga seated as we practice breath work and gentle body movement. We may then move into standing poses while utilizing a chair to modify poses for better balance. Chair Yoga helps maintain fitness, health, balance, and improve mood. This gentle exercise can make you happy, healthy, and strong!
Audrey Crowe is a yoga teacher, landscape artist, and XC ski instructor who delights in sharing her passion for fitness, balance and improving health. She teaches yoga classes that include Sit and Fit Chair Yoga, Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness, and Restorative. Audrey’s personal practice began 27 years ago for health and peace of mind. Yoga with Audrey is a nourishing flow with breath work, gentle body movements, and mindful meditation. Her approach honors each individual’s uniqueness: “We begin where we are and how we are.” Yoga has transformed Audrey’s quality of life and she is excited to be sharing it with others.
