Abbie Library Receives Grant

ABBIE GREENLEAF LIBRARY RECEIVES NATIONAL GRANT FOR SMALL AND RURAL LIBRARIES

Abbie Greenleaf Library has received an American Library Association grant to support a community read of The Diary of Anne Frank followed by a discussion focusing on the impact of isolation on individuals and how to build a stronger community. 

Library patrons and local community members of ALL ages are invited to participate. We encourage families to join us. We also encourage educators to urge their students to participate.

The library will be distributing free copies of the book at the end of June. The discussion will take place in early September on the lawn outside the library in Franconia.
