Star Fire Jazz Fusion, July 28 at 11 a.m.

Star Fire presents a jazz fusion musical performance. FOR ALL AGES. Kids invited to participated at the end of the performance.

Star Fire - Toussaint St. Negritude, Ben Salomon, Jason Tors

Former Poet Laureate of Belfast, Maine, poet, bass clarinetist, and composer Toussaint St. Negritude conjures whole liberations in full tempo. US Poet Laureate Gwendolyn Brooks described his work as "full of sweet sounds and surprises." Originally from San Francisco, Toussaint has lived and broadly thrived across the African Diaspora, from the sacred mountains of Haiti to the Coltrane District of North Philadelphia. On an alpine sanctuary facing east, Toussaint St. Negritude continues to thrive in the farthest elevations of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.

Born in Littleton, NH and a resident of Waterford, VT Ben Salomon is a second generation musician and operates the family guitar shop Northern Lights Music. Ben is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and Mills College in Oakland where he studied percussion and electronic music composition. Key musical projects include improvising with Jason Tors, playing drums with Ira Friedman sextet and lead guitar with the Back Shed Bluegrass Band.

Quiet resident of Sugar Hill NH and chief herder of cats at The Loading Dock in Littleton, Jason Tors plays drums and is just starting to get comfortable with identifying as a musician. Graphic designer by trade and venue owner by night, Jason makes time to play improvised music with various characters and is always open to where the moment will take him.

Witness this first ever live performance of Star Fire, a conversation in sound featuring voice, bass clarinet, bass, 12 string guitar, and drums.
