Join us for a screening of a new documentary by local filmmaker Doug Weisman.
The Student, The Survivor, The Shooter and The Sheriff is a feature-length documentary about the shooting-rampage phenomenon at schools in the United States. The film examines the past, present, and future of this uniquely American crisis through extraordinary characters who have a deep and terrifying connection to the carnage and the powerful new push for change.
After the screening the filmmaker will moderate a brief discussion.

Douglas Weisman, photographer/cinematographer
For over 40 years Doug Weisman worked in the television production industry as a producer, director, and director of photography. He had the opportunity to document major domestic and international events as they unfolded and created compelling stories for many of the worlds' television news and documentary networks. His ability to capture unique imagery keeps him behind the lens of his camera. Doug lives in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. You will often find him hiking with his wife Julie and their three Siberian huskies, cycling the back roads, or photographing waterfalls.
