Zine Art Workshop April 12

Making Zines w/ Julia Webb

Zines can be a small compilation of anything! A story, poetry, photos, drawings or all of these things. This is the second workshop in a series of AGL/WREN collaborations that will ultimately lead to the printing of some of these works in June at the DirectAngle artist’s press in Bethlehem, NH.

Julia Webb made her first zine at WREN circa 1995 and discovered it aligns with the philosophy of Bread and Puppet's Cheap Art Manifesto- cheap art is light, little, quick, and easy to do- a fun and accessible way to express yourself and share your message with the world. A graduate of Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, Julia focused on improving outcomes for rural youth; she is the Executive Director at WREN.
